The Board of Västra Götaland county Deaf aims to give deaf people in western Sweden a good life.

Västra Götaland county Deaf is connected to the Swedish Association of the Deaf (SDR) and has the objective to follow the SDR's guidelines in the fight for sign language.

Västra Götaland county Deaf monitors all key issues relating to deaf people in the county.

County Councils working together with Habilitation & Health Department and disability and participation in Western Götaland.

County councils must continue with all that is in statute.
