Västra Götalands Dövas Länsförbund = The West Swedish Association of the Deaf We work with interest political questions for deaf in Västra Götaland. Västra Götaland lies in West Sweden.
The board for Västra Götalands Dövas Länsförbund (VGDL) has as objective to give deaf in West Sweden a good life. Västra Götalands Dövas Länsförbund is socketed to The Swedish National Association of the Deaf (SDR). Västra Götalands Dövas Länsförbund monitors all important questions that concerns deaf in Västra Götalands län and collaborates today with Handikappsförvaltningen/disability committee in Västra Götalandsregionen.
We must monitor important interest all questions that concerns deaf and sign language on region level. Our different commissions are to monitor development within:
Deafteam, Hear - and deaf activity, interpreter activity, culture activity, collective traffic, medical service questions and interest political questions that have connection to Västra Götalandsregionen.
